Anna Paquin was born in New Zealand and raised in Canada. She is a New Zealand-Canadian actor who has been in movies such as X-Men, X-Men, and Fly Away Home. She never planned to become an actor however, fate decided she was going to. She turned down many opportunities following the success of her first movie in order to continue her education. When she was 14 years old she was cast on Jane Eyre and ?Fly Away home. In the year 2000, her performance as a powerful mutant, ?Rogue ? in ?X-Men ? which was the debut film in the ?X-Men ? film series, catapulted to global notoriety.
