Yael Yael, who is an Australian who lives in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael has graduated from NIDA. Yael was fortunate enough at a young age to work with the best storytellers and performers in Australia and creative directors within the TV, film and theatre industry. Yael enjoys a rich career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael was able to find a new home within New York City when the production was acclaimed on the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). Yael is co-founder The Cannery. The Cannery.
